Founded in 1986 by John Chandler of Cardiff University, BBInternational has grown from being a small company offering its unique 'in-house' recipe gold colloid to a major player in the global diagnostics marketplace with a reputation for its superior quality reagents, assay development, and contract manufacturing services.

BBI currently operates from its headquarters in south Wales, along with further development and manufacturing services from facilities in Dundee, Scotland and Madison in the US.
