BBInternational's custom conjugation service allows the bespoke production of high quality conjugates optimised to meet your sensitivity specifications. Our scientists work to provide stable, reproducible conjugates efficiently and within a minimal timescale, making this probably the best value feasibility service available.

Experts in Conjugation

We have developed and perfected conjugation protocols for the binding of antibodies and antigens to gold & silver particles as well as latex beads. In addition, we are proficient in the more complex conjugation of oligonucleotides. We work closely with our customers to optimise the conjugate to the point where it is proven in the assay system and ready for commercial scale up.

Small Scale to Bulk

To run a custom conjugation we initially require a small amount of antibody or antigen with +ve control material. We then process the conjugation using our specific protocols, which involves an intensive system of optimisation. This begins with the production of over 60 small scale preparations until we reach a candidate that demonstrates good stability and reproducibility characteristics whilst also meeting your performance targets within a wet assay. Following this process a 5ml quantity at OD10 is provided, as well as a comprehensive laboratory report detailing the performance testing and the option to discuss further optimisation.

When successful initial conjugation and optimisation is complete, the specific conjugate procedure is 'locked'. We then validate the scale up of the conjugate to a greater volume providing assurance for quality and performance in greater batch sizes.

With the ability to supply single conjugate batch sizes of up to 20 litres at OD10, BBInternational is well placed to meet your ongoing conjugate requirements for small scale or high volume manufacturing.
