BBI Detection is licensed to provide a newly developed and patented, integrated multiplex assay and sampling system for the detection of threat agents in powder and liquids. (An IMASS device is pictured above.) Advantages over the current systems used include; speed, no power requirements, clarity of results, and ease of use - particularly when wearing protective equipment.

BBI Detection has exclusive access to monoclonal antibody pairs for a range of explosive and biological threat agents. These antibodies are proven to give sensitivity and specificity and are already in use with a number of assay systems.
